This position is hybrid in nature requiring 2 days/week on-site at either the Westinghouse Global Headquarters facility in Cranberry Woods PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area OR the Westinghouse facility in Dallas TX. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visas for this opportunity
Your Day-to-Day:
- Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for complex nuclear power plant systems evaluating plants potential vulnerability to all risk and hazard types (i.e. seismic fire flooding etc.) for domestic and international plants
- Lead project teams effectively contributing to the technical execution as well as the schedule and financial objectives
- Support and identify strategic initiatives develop product offerings and pursue target product markets
- Present technical topics and interface with global customers and regulatory bodies
- Develop and support innovation products from conception through marketing and delivery
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate you will bring the following to the team:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Nuclear or Chemical)
- Professional Engineer License considered a plus
- 10 years professional experience;Minimum of 7 years experience with PRA Model development applied to nuclear plants
- Knowledge of PWR reactor operation
- In addition to basic Risk and Hazard skills should have a strong knowledge of
- Internal/External Hazards PRAs;
- Level 2 PRAs;
- Human Reliability Analysis (HRA)
- Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs)
- Proficiency with PRA software (CAFTA RiskSpectrum);
- Peer Review experience
