Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant Behaviour & Wellbeing Focus
Location: Wandsworth South West London
Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: 105.00 per day (PAYE)

A secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges.
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant youll work closely with the schools SEN and pastoral teams supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis. This includes helping pupils with emotional regulation behaviour management and confidence building.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting students with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Assisting with wellbeing interventions and mentoring programmes
- Working alongside the SENDCo and external professionals
- Helping staff maintain a calm structured learning environment
This role suits Psychology graduates interested in teaching counselling or clinical psychology.

- A strong degree in Psychology (2:1 or above)

- An interest in behaviour mental health or educational psychology
- Full availability from September 2025 July 2026
