Equipment Process Supervisor

What You Will Do at Aptar Pharma:
The primary mission of theEquipment Process Supervisoris to Supervise and Manage Operations; manage a crew of technicians including Mechanics WFI/Boiler Technicians and HVAC Technicians engaged in the maintenance and operation of Plant Process Equipment.
What Aptar Pharma Is Looking For:
Supervise and Manage Operations: Oversee the daily operations of process equipment and instrumentation to ensure efficient and safe production. Plan and manage maintenance activities during plant shutdown periods.
Manage Service Contracts: Actively participate in scheduling and planning activities of service contractors and technical consultants.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Continuously strive to improve machine reliability.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all equipment and processes comply with industry standards regulatory requirements and safety protocols including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and OSHA.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of technicians/operators providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance. Coach employee performance. Act as a hands-on supervisor actively participating in daily tasks and problem-solving.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of equipment performance maintenance activities and any incidents. Prepare and present reports to management. Prepare technical instructions and manuals. Manage and track preventive and predictive maintenance programs through proper documentation.
Calibration: Oversee the calibration of instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as the Production Department to ensure seamless operations and address any issues promptly and with the Quality Department to provide maintenance support to the laboratory including all test equipment.
Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of spare parts and consumables ensuring timely procurement and availability. Identify resource needs and allocate resources accordingly.
What you will bring on the journey:
Experience
Bachelors degree in engineering.
At least 3 years experience in a manufacturing or process environment.
Skills
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of process equipment and instrumentation used in pharmaceutical manufacturing including calibration techniques.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead motivate and develop a team. Experience as a hands-on supervisor is essential.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry best practices regulations and standards.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Computer Skills: Utilization of software systems such as SAP MS Office CMMS and web-based applications.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role isUSD $48.55 to $65.86 per is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
