Job Summary

PSEG is looking for an Intern for the Project & Construction PMO Center of Excellence

This job involves working as an Intern Business Analyst to support the Project Management Office (PMO)

This position will be Hybrid

Job Responsibilities

Assignments will include working alongside professionals in the following areas:

  • Project cost controls project authorization and closeout documentation project performance reporting and analysis including SAP cost reporting.
  • Data collection pre-processing analysis manipulation and visualization required to meet reporting and management needs.
  • Assist with process improvement and quality checks with current project status reports.
  • Update and combine all existing job aids into Reporting Playbook.
  • Support document controls improvements with establishment of centralized document management platform.

All in support of large-scale transmission line and substation construction projects. Beyond technical skill development the candidate will have the opportunity to develop business soft skills through seminars throughout the summer.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate(s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited institution in Business Data Analytics Computer Science Accounting Finance or a related field. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. Candidates must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration.


Preferred:

  • 3.0 GPA
  • Excel experience is a plus

All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate however there are no medical benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the duration of the summer internship. We are targeting currently enrolled/matriculating students that are able to commute to their designated work location as needed. Housing transportation and immigration support will not be provided in association with these positions.
