Nursery Manager Up toHours

Our client a warm and welcoming early years setting is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead their team in providing exceptional care and learning for young children. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of a thriving nursery where children are at the heart of everything.

The Nursery Manager will oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery leading a team of dedicated practitioners to deliver high-quality care and early education. This role calls for someone with strong leadership skills a nurturing approach and a genuine love for helping children thrive.

Youll work closely with families inspire your team and ensure the nursery operates smoothly safely and in line with all regulatory requirements. If youre currently a Deputy Manager ready to step up or an experienced Nursery Manager looking for a fresh challenge this could be the perfect next step.

What Youll Need

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • Experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities
  • Confident leadership skills and a passion for team development
  • A warm approachable and organised style of management
  • A genuine commitment to giving children the best start in life

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of nursery operations from staffing to safeguarding
  • Ensure the highest standards of early years education and care across the setting
  • Support inspire and develop the nursery team through ongoing coaching and training
  • Build strong relationships with families and act as the main point of contact
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Ofsted and EYFS requirements
  • Promote a positive inclusive and enriching environment for both children and staff
