Two roles are available
We are seeking expressions of interest from internal candidates who are interested in temporary roles in the Work Health and Safety team. The role is full-time covering periods of leave or high volume work load assistance. We see this role having the potentialfor ongoing back-filling opportunities when the occasions arise.
POSITION 1 - WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISOR
As Work Health and Safety Advisors at the City of Hobart you will play a critical role in fostering a safe and compliant workplace. This role requires someone who is not only technically skilled in WHS policies investigations and risk management but also capable of working within the structured processes of local government. Youll need to be adaptable solution-focused and confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels to champion a positive safety culture.

POSITION 2 - SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER - WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY (5607)
This role contributes to the success of the City by providing effective and timely administrative and clerical services and support for the efficient operation of the Unit.
Role accountabilities include supporting the work being undertaken by the Principal WHS the Senior Advisor WHS and the WHS Advisors with administrative and other related support including:

The desired applicant will have the following qualifications and experience
Experience in the maintenance of WHS records and information
Demonstrated ability to confidently use Microsoft Office products and WHS-specific databases.
