Position Summary:
The Wildlife Rehabilitator will coordinate daily animal care at the PAWS Wildlife Center. They provide the daily care cleaning and enrichment needs of wild animals at PAWS running daily care shifts consisting of volunteers interns and seasonals under the direct supervision of the Wildlife Rehabilitation Manager.
Headquartered in Lynnwood WA PAWS is a nationally recognized leader in rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife sheltering adoptinghomeless cats and dogsand educatingpeople to make a better world foranimals and people.
PAWS Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is located Snohomish WA near Lowell Larimer Rd. on Hwy 9 and work will be from this facility.

Controls over Work:
The Wildlife Rehabilitator is a member of the Wildlife Team and reports directly to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Manager and is expected to perform the established duties and essential functions without direct supervision.
Working Conditions:
Daily lifting a minimum of forty (40) pounds. Lifting of heavier weights with the assistance of another staff. Work is performed both in and out of the Wildlife Center that requires lifting bending stooping pushing and other moderately strenuous activities and must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time. Ability to be outdoors in all weather conditions year-round. Exposure to noise odors chemicals fumes dust animal hair/dander parasites urine and feces and transmittable diseases due to equipment and animals. Ability to work 810-hour shifts (10 hour per day is a typical) on a four day per week schedule typically days with some evenings weekends and holidays and flexibility to respond to emergencies as needed. Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time including working at a computer.
