**We are offering to qualified and experienced candidates a sign-on bonus not to exceed 10% of salary for this position.**
Responsibilities
Provides system-wide strategic and operational leadership and is responsible to design integrate and coordinate Surgical Services across Dignity Health. Directs the provision of perioperative care in this service line while maintaining standards of patient care. Provides leadership and strategic vision to develop and operationalize standard processes re
lated to surgical services. Collaborates with key leaders and departments to develop system goals action plans and program evaluation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Ten (10) years of successful and progressive experience in a health care system or hospital providing or directing patient care activities within surgical services. Five (5) years of leadership experience managing a variety of patient care services in a complex surgical services/healthcare environment. Experience in directing other clinical areas working closely with physicians and developing clinical strategies implementing operational efforts and measuring outcomes.
- Masters degree in related field (e.g. MSN/MBA/MHA) from an accredited institution (degree will be verified) or medical degree (e.g. M.D./D.O.) with board certification in surgery or anesthesiology.
- Applicable clinical degree (e.g. RN MD DO) in state of practice.
