Job Description
Tomlinson is currently seeking a Yard Labourer for our Heavy Equipment Garage on 5151 Albion Road. This position will be full-time hours working from Monday to Friday from 7AM to 5PM. This position will be ideal for someone who likes to work with and around heavy equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all task with regard to your safety and safety of others
Organize and maintain attachments in the yard
Ability to be organized and maintain heavy equipment parts inventory
Cleanequipment
Snow clearing the yard
Assist Shop Technicians Shop Supervisors when neededin the shop
Assist with cleaning and minor maintenance of day-to-day operationsin the yard
Load and unload equipment in the yard
Operating forklift/ loader in the yard
Pick up parts as required
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work around and operate heavy equipment
Ability to be on their feet for a long period of time
Some heavy lifting may be required
Occasionally work independently
Punctual attendance with ability to work necessary hours on daily and weekly basis
