Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Controller of Accounting to join our team of restaurants located in the heart of Miamis Little Havana on Calle 8. This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive annual salary ranging from $90000 to $100000.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements budgets and forecasts to guide decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations including tax filings.
- Manage cash flow and optimize financial performance.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with management to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

- Bilingual (English and Spanish) essential for effective communication.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a small accounting team.
