Job Description

Rize HR is presently partnered with a Real Estate investment company based downtown in their search for an in-house legal documentation specialist. This role will work closely with the executive team on real estate related legal documents such as leasing and contractor contracts etc.

Candidates with the following skill sets would be preferred:
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work well in a high-pressure environment;
Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize;
Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google products;
Great organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy;
A desire to work in a fast-paced office and willingness to help out where needed;
Willing to learn about real estate business and wills and estates;
Is passionate and wants to grow with our company long-term and work in a vibrant fast-paced environment with a great team culture

Responsibilities

Assist with property transactions including leasing.
Prepare review and finalize legal documents such as leases contracts and transfer documents.
Experience with retail leasing documentation is an asset
Communicate with the executive team on implications/summaries of legal documents.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
