Admission Coordinator Nursing Home Business Office
Full Time 80 Hours per pay period Day Shift

Position Summary:
Manages day-to-day operations of admissions office. Position is responsible for receiving telephone calls on all potential residents. Accurately collects data on all potential residents. Schedules and facilitates screenings and/or admissions. Ensures that all admission paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Handles calls requesting information about the Nursing Home and its programs. Helps foster a positive image of Claiborne Medical Center through public relations and communication within the Covenant Health system and the community. Works with clinical and medical staff to allow clients to be dispositioned to the most appropriate clinical setting.
Minimum Education:
None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job typically such as would be equivalent to an Associates degree. Preference may be given to individuals possessing a Bachelors degree in a directly-related field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum Experience:
One (1) year of customer service experience working with geriatric patients and families required. Nursing home billing experience accounting skills and worked with Excel software preferred.
