Job Description
The following position is open in the Elgin Local Schools for the 2025-2026 school year:Position: Activities DirectorMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors DegreeOhio Department of Education and Workforce educator licensure preferredPrevious education-related leadership experience preferredCompletion of state Pupil Activity Permit (PAP) requirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience in a coaching or other activity-related role contributing to overall knowledge of school-related activitiesAbility to administer the districts interscholastic athletic programAdminister all Board-approved extracurricular and cocurricular programs/club/ activitiesBCI/FBI clearance Essential Functions:Manages/administers budgeting process requisitions purchases fees collection fundraising donations and other fiscal processes for extracurricular and cocurricular activitiesManages the facility usage calendar for all district facilities outside the school dayOversees an ongoing maintenance/replacement program to protect and preserve program resources (e.g. building/grounds equipment)Represents the district at athletic league and OHSAA sponsored eventsMonitors interscholastic athletic regulations and recommends procedures that facilitate compliance with regulationsResponsible for the recruitment hiring and confirmation of proper qualifications of coaches and activity advisors according to the approved list of supplemental positionsSalary: To Be Determined based on experience and the Board-adopted salary scheduleContract Days: 205Anticipated Start Date: August 4 2025Date Posted: Wednesday May 28 2025Deadline for Applications: June 11 2025If you are interested please submit letter of interest and resume electronically to:Mr. Lane Warner
