Summary of Duties
As a Case Manager Supervisor you will:
Supervise Human Services Case Managers and Case Aides within the Aging and People with Disabilities (APD) program.
Support Case Managers in providing health related social financial and protective services to recipients of Title XIX.
Use detailed knowledge of local community resources to maximize effective service delivery for clients and to integrate APD programs in the community.
Use program and technical knowledge skills and abilities to plan organize direct and monitor the operations of the Grants Pass APD field office.
Minimum Qualifications
Four years of lead work supervision or progressively related experience to the class concept; OR
One year of related experience and a bachelors degree in a related field.

Working Conditions
Majority of your work will be conducted in the Grants Pass Aging and People with Disabilities office. You may have some opportunities for hybrid work but this will be dependent on business needs.
Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (PDT).
You will work a professional work week where the hours of work fluctuate on a daily and weekly basis to meet service needs.
Occasionally you will travel out of the area to attend meetings or trainings. This could be overnight travel.
Occasionally you will have local travel for the purpose of engaging with the community and attending community events.
You will be a part of an on-call schedule every summer (approximately June through September or as needed) to assist in the coordination of emergency response (due to fires etc.).
You will interact with a wide range of people including some who have experienced trauma and may exhibit challenges in controlling their emotions.
You may encounter situations that require quick decision-making to ensure safety of yourself and others.

A valid drivers license and acceptable driving record are required for this position.

The Oregon Department of Human Services does not offer visa sponsorship. This is a permanent full-time position and is a Managment Service Supervisory position and is not represented by a union.
