Responsible for performing patient evaluations reviewing pretreatment teaching recommending therapeutic intervention counseling patients and families and collaborating with appropriate physicians
to provide other appropriate direct care interventions within the scope of practice for physicians assistants in collaboration with the Thoracic Disease Program Director. Primary point of contact and
assumes responsibilities for managing the care for patients.
MINIMUM
Masters in nursing from an accredited program for Nurse Practitioners.
Minimum 3 years clinical experience in related area or specialty field.
state or Arizona RN license (RN)
Advance Practice Nurse license (LIC APN)
Certificate as an nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations:
NP-AACN
NP-AANP
NP-ANCC
or
NP-PNCB
4. DEA registration (DEA)
5. American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (CT ACLS)
