Description
PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
The adjunct instructor will facilitate learning in engineering courses that are offered in the First Year Programincluding Honors sections. The adjunct may serve as the instructor of record or co-teach courses with other instructorsand faculty.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide instruction in a variety of formats including in-person and hybrid/online learning develop anddeliver course material assess student work and provide feedback to aid student learning assist with projectwork and mentor students.
Qualifications
- MS or PhD in engineering or closely related field
- Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals including design. Working knowledge of technical software platformsused for solid modeling data acquisition and processing computation and computer programming.
