Job Description
We are hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor to join the team at our Delivery Station in Mulgrave.
In this role you will lead a technical team in carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance activities repairing and maintaining the machinery that keeps Amazon running!

Key job responsibilities
- Supervise and lead Maintenance Technicians by motivating providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals.
- Deliver and maintain Preventive Maintenance programs building compliance programs including facility and contractor management.
- Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the site.
- Manage maintenance related purchase orders to maximise smooth facility operation and control of critical spare and store inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for maintenance.
- Install maintain and troubleshoot all systems including power distribution automated material handling equipment conveyance and all other operational equipment.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organisation including regular attendance to site leadership meetings and steering committees.
- Formal trade qualification: Cert III In Electrotechnology holding an unrestricted trade licence OR Cert III Mechanical Engineering. Alternatively equivalent trade qualifications formally recognised in Australia.
- Leadership experience in supervising multi-trade teams in a fast paced industrial manufacturing/distribution center environment.
- Experience in mentoring and developing technicians.
- Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.
- Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
- Experience in contractor management.
- Preferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon. If you have all the basic qualifications above wed love to hear from you.
- Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls electrical and electronic principles preventative maintenance procedures blueprint and schematic reading industrial electrical industrial controls industrial electronics Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs.
- Experience of multi-contractor management.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements.
- Facility management.
