Whats the role
This Senior Tech Lead role is part of the Customer & Engineering domain within Data Platforms. You will lead the delivery of inclusive and innovative technology solutions that support customer servicing credit assessment and product origination across both digital and colleague-facing channels.
In this role you will lead the design of scalable ETL solutions using Informatica ensuring efficient high-quality data integration aligned with enterprise and compliance standards. Youll provide technical leadership resolve complex cross-functional issues and guide the overall direction of ETL development.
Youll also mentor team members at various career stages fostering an inclusive collaborative environment that supports diverse talent. By promoting best practices and continuously improving workflows youll help drive technical excellence and team efficiency.
What do I need
- Extensive experience in Information Technology with a strong focus on systems development support and maintenance over a significant period.
- Deep understanding of database management including hands-on experience with platforms such as Oracle SQL Server and Teradata along with expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Deep proficiency and SME in Informatica tools is essential particularly PowerCenter with comprehensive experience in designing developing and optimising ETL processes.
- Skilled in systems integration across diverse environments.
- Practical experience with shell scripting for automation and system tasks.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket supporting collaborative development practices.
