Purpose:
Work on-on-one with residents to help maintain their mobility and physical strength while providing them encouragement and compassionate care.
Qualifications:
- At least one year experience as a CNA
- Complete training to be a level II CNA
- Self-directed
- Ability to work well with others
- Innovation to follow-through
- Good body mechanics habits
- Desire to know and follow regulatory requirements
- Communication skills and good rapport with MDS
- Good documentation skills
- Dependability and good attendance
Job Duties:
- Perform range of motion on selected residents
- Ambulate residents
- Conduct gait training
- Daily documentation on residents
- Participate in restorative feed programs
- Conduct exercise for groups of residents
- Communicate on a regular basis with designated nurse
- Assist nurse aides as directed/assist in Dining Room
- Perform weekly and monthly weights
- other duties as assigned
Other details:
- Starts at $16.75 / hour additional $0.25 / hour per year of experience with cap of 15 years
