Job Summary:
Location: Methodist Corporate OfficeResponsibilities:
Essential Functions
Provides leadership to ensure a quality patient experience and excellent customer service.
Ensures the implementation of pre-access policies and procedures within each of the clinic sites which are consistent with the overall direction established by MPC.
Participates in establishing goals for the department and other activities aimed at improving the work flow of the department.
Provides updates/summaries of key performance indicators and productivity/utilization of staff. Resolves any problem with staff performance/quality of work morale customer complaints backlogs in work training deficiencies staffing shortages physician complaints etc. in participation with the pre-access team leaders.
Escalates interdepartmental performance issues appropriately. Arranges interdepartmental meetings to diagnose and solve problems which adversely impact best practice. Develops strong working relationships with multi-departmental teams.
Ensures positive customer/patient interactions by providing direction to staff when:
Works in conjunction with operations departments on service line growth strategies specific to pre-access opportunities.

Job Requirements
Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited school of nursing healthcare business administration or related field OR equivalent combination of education/experience combined (one year of education equals one year of experience) required. Bachelors degree in nursing healthcare business administration preferred.
