Job ID: 39782 Location: Quincy Florida USA

Become a part of our outstanding Adsorbents and Additives Maintenance Team! In this role you will be responsible for precision maintenance on both electrical and mechanical crafts while maintaining a high level of ESHA (Environmental Safety Health and Awareness) for yourself your team and adherence to policies guidelines and laws. This position requires covering a rotational weekend on-call shift. We have several openings in our Maintenance department apply online today!


Responsibilities

  • Diagnose troubleshoot plan and repair all electrical and/or mechanical components.
  • Perform work in mechanical skill areas such as fabrication assembly welding burning cutting and pipefitting.
  • Conduct work in electrical skill areas such as using multi-meters clamp-on amp meters meg-ohm meters wiring 3-phase electric motors and repairing electrical cables.
  • Routinely rig equipment for lifting which may require the use of hoists or cranes. These loads may routinely weigh several thousand pounds.
  • Install rearrange and align complex equipment while keeping track of spare parts and work orders using our internal CMMS.
  • Perform housekeeping and 5S activities in the maintenance shop electrical shop immediate work areas and other designated areas.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required. A 2-year Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance/Technology is highly preferred.
  • Seeking 3-5 years of proven industrial experience (such as Mechanic Millwright Electro-Mechanical Technician or similar roles).
  • Ability to read and write technical drawings single lines manuals and P&ID diagrams.
  • Solid MS Office skills (Word and Excel); experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs. The position also requires climbing ladders up to 178 feet.
  • At pre-determined times you will need to wear a respirator and should be medically cleared to do so.
