We have various shifts and schedules available for the Emergency Departments located at:

  • Moses Cone Hospital - Greensboro (Full time 7a-7p 7p-7a or 3p-3a)
  • Wesley Long Hospital - Greensboro (Full time 7p-7a or Part time 7:00am-7:00pm)

Talent Pool: Certified Nursing Assistant

CNA Nursing Tech Nurse Tech ED Emergency Moses Cone Greensboro Full time part time

Responsibilities

Supports patients with daily living tasks including meals personal care and progressive mobility in order to support the recovery and plan of care.
Assesses patients quality of life related to nutrition hydration and elimination in order to distribute resources and anticipate patient needs.
Admits transfers and discharges patients in order to move them to the appropriate locations in line with the plan of care.
Assists with clinical procedures including monitoring blood glucose recording vital signs obtaining EKGs applying restraints and attending to elimination needs to provide comfortable care for patients.
Helps to maintain unit inventories of supplies and medical equipment in order to ensure a clean and safe environment in adherence to the National Patient Safety Goals.
Checks that fall-risk patients have the appropriate arm bands socks and signage to ensure physical safety.
Helps document all clinical procedures patient interactions and medication use to maintain a detailed patient history.
Responds promptly to delegation from registered nurse staff and shares patient observations to ensure efficient collaboration.
Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:
Required: None

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required: Nurse Aide Certification required by State of North Carolina DHHR. BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
