Position Summary: Responsible for assisting the director in operating the bustling multi-functioning Innovative Senior Center by supervising and backing up social services; scheduling and helping supervise full and part-time staff of some 40 people; overseeing administrative management; maintaining and troubleshooting Department for the Agings PeerPlace database; supporting volunteer management and fund raising; and supporting program implementation development and evaluation.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Supervise Social/Casework staff and casework.
- Provide direct case work to clients.
- Create and oversee relevant daily programs maintaining monthly calendars that meet or exceed contractual service requirements.
- Maintain centers data in DFTAs PeerPlace database for membership tracking and reporting and create reports as needed.
- Oversee general maintenance of the center and the offsite rooms utilized for center activity with special attention to safety issues.
- Oversee daily Voluntary Contribution/Fund Raising money donations counting verifying recording depositing etc.
- Work with Policy Advisory Committee on fundraising events.
- Conduct appraisals for some staff including maintenance worker cook and kitchen manager.
- Utilize database to monitor and report on staff attendance.
- Oversee Simple Servings online menu planning and monthly menu implementation.
- Administer Unusual Occurrence database reporting.
- Back up processing and submitting invoices to bookkeeper.
- Provide back-up social service as needed; occasional Saturday availability preferred.
- Explore community resources conduct community outreach and build linkages.
- Substitute for the director in the directors absence.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Adheres to organizations standards by completing annual mandatory trainings in a timely manner on topics including but not limited to Sexual Harassment Prevention Training IT Security Awareness Compliance OSHA HIPAA and any other training the organization may deem necessary in regards to regulatory compliance or good business practices.

- Adheres to the organizations policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance and health and safety standards.
Salary Ranges: $71500 - $73900 per year commensurate with experience.
Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required; MSW from an accredited college/university preferred
- Have minimum of 3 years of experiences in program implementation promotion recruitment planning development and evaluation
- Have minimum of 3 years of experiences in administration fund raising and personnel management
- Bilingual (English/Chinese)
- Computer literate word processing and database experience required knowledge of PeerPlace preferred
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to multi-task and work independently with a great attention to detail
Working Conditions/Physical Demand:
- Business office environment with phone and computer use.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions.
