Pay: $43000 - $45000 per year DOE
Full-Time onsite
Location:77 Trails End Road Eureka Montana 59917
Chrysalis is seeking a creative and compassionate Art/Vocational Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. This individual will design and deliver engaging hands-on instruction in both visual arts and vocational skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about empowering students through artistic expression and practical skill-building while supporting their therapeutic growth and individualized education plans.
Responsibilities
Develop and teach a curriculum in visual arts (drawing painting ceramics etc.) and vocational subjects (woodworking crafts design or life skills).
Create a safe inclusive and encouraging environment for students to explore creativity and build confidence.
Integrate social-emotional learning and therapeutic principles into classroom activities.
Collaborate closely with clinical staff direct care mentors and academic team members.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities including those with IEPs or 504 Plans.
Maintain an organized classroom and manage materials tools and safety procedures.
Document student progress and communicate regularly with the multidisciplinary team.
Participate in school events field trips and experiential learning opportunities.
Qualifications
- Required:Montana Class 1 or Class 2 Teaching License
- Minimum of a bachelors degree in art education vocational education or related field
- Proven experience in teaching adolescents and classroom management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must pass federal and state background check
- Must pass drug screening
- Active State of Montana Drivers license
