Job Description
US Heart and Vascular is in need of a full time Vascular Sonographer to join our team at Houston Cardiovascular Associates in Houston TX.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform vascular ultrasound examinations including arterial venous including insufficiency/ reflux scans carotid and abdominal studies.
Assist physicians in vein procedures such as vein mapping vein ablations sclerotherapy and ultrasound-guided access.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic interpretation.
Educate and prepare patients for vein procedures ensuring comfort and safety.
Knowledge Skills and Requirements
Must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
Must be experienced and work independently in a very busy private cardiology practice setting.
BLS/CPR preferred
Active credentials by either ARDMS or CCI.
