DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Food Service Worker 2 you will prepare ingredients and cook food items in bulk quantities according to menu specifications. Work involves following recipes preparing modified diets ordering supplies ensuring proper food requisition and preparation and ensuring compliance with recipes alongside the Cook. You will have the opportunity to instruct volunteers pack bulk food items operate kitchen equipment clean dishes and participate in tray line activities. Additional training sessions will be provided in order to enhance your skills. You will be required to maintain sanitary food preparation conditions in accordance with established requirements by following production and cleaning schedules.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM Monday - Friday with a 30-minute lunch.
- Occasional overnight travel or out of county travel for meetings or training may be required.
- Work schedule includes irregular hours including evenings weekends or holidays.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in food preparation or service; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police clearance PA Child Abuse history clearance and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
