Junior Accountant
Bellingham WA (In-Office)
Were on the hunt for a tech-savvy Excel-loving Jr. Accountant with solid accounting chops. Our clienta well-respected general contractor in the Northwestis looking for someone detail-oriented to support both their Accounting and HR teams.
This role offers hands-on exposure to payroll A/P & A/R and financial reporting. Youll collaborate with the Controller and project teams to keep financials accurate and on point.
Ideal candidates will have 1 years of accounting experience strong Excel skills and a knack for numbers. Construction industry experience is a major plus. If youre looking for a role that blends structure learning and a great work-life balance this could be it.
Jr. Accountant Responsibilities:
- Assist with payroll processing for 100 employees
- Support accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Prepare and assist with financial reports and reconciliations
- Provide administrative support for accounting and HR projects
- Analyze and clean data for reporting and operational use
Jr. Accountant Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of accounting data entry or analytics experience (construction experience a plus)
- AA or BA in Accounting or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems is a bonus
