The Director of Academic Services is responsible for the day-to-day operations and academic leadership of Braintree St. Coletta Day School. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality individualized education tailored to a diverse student population in grades K8. The school provides a highly structured and supportive learning environment where students benefit from a customized academic curriculum that meets a wide range of learning needs and developmental programming at Braintree St. Coletta Day School is guided by aligned academic standards and delivered through a multi-modal project-based instructional approach. This includes integration of therapeutic supports such as Applied Behavioral Analysis Occupational Therapy Physical Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy all of which are embedded within the school day to support student success. The Director of Academic Services plays a key role in the oversight and coordination of these services and in fostering a collaborative student-centered educational and actively support the Mission Vision and Values of Cardinal Cushing daily oversight of school operations offering educational leadership and direction to academic and therapeutic observe and coach licensed Special Education Teachers to ensure effective instruction and professional ongoing supervision observation and coaching of Related Service Providers including Speech-Language Pathologists Occupational Therapists and Physical with the Associate Vice President of Educational Services in the interview and hiring process for educational implement and evaluate curriculum that is responsive to the unique needs of the student population aligning with educational standards and project-based learning as Team Chair for annual IEP meetings re-evaluations and other student support the development implementation and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) ensuring compliance with Massachusetts DESE in the admissions process including conducting student interviews tours and reviewing referral materials to assess placement full compliance with DESE documentation and licensing and participate in DESE licensing and site review procedures as open professional and effective communication with families guardians advocates school districts state agencies (e.g. DCF) and other and facilitate regular staff meetings preparing agendas and fostering a collaborative team as an active member of the Educational Leadership Team collaborating with peer directors and reporting to the Associate Vice President of Educational ServicesEnsure consistent attendance and punctuality to model professional expectations.
