The Program Aide for Professional Development under general supervision supports the creation and quality control of professional development training courses that are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to support faculty in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (AGLS).
Supports the creation of online professional development training:
Becomes skilled in innovative technologies for the purpose of training others.
Collaborates with instructional design staff to develop and refine high-quality training courses ensuring content accuracy and alignment with learning objectives.
Produces engaging online instructional content by scripting voice acting and editing videos to deliver clear professional training materials. Incorporate multimedia and interactive elements for streamlined training structure.
Supports the quality-control of online professional development training:
Conducts thorough quality reviews to ensure course consistency clarity and functionality maintaining a user-friendly ADA-compliant and impactful learning experience.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in an applicable field.
Course review or course accessibility experience.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Fluent in English.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to edit videos in Camtasia or other video editing tools.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection.
Preferred Qualifications:

Willingness to persevere through the challenges of learning new tools.
Attention to detail.
Hourly pay: $19.00 hour
Schedule weekly hours: 19 hours
