Candidates must demonstrate a strongunderstanding of child and adolescent health issues growth and development and the social-emotionalneeds of students. The successful candidates will be competent in providing care for ill and injured studentsincluding those with chronic medical conditions and must consistently deliver compassionate student-centered care. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced clinic environment follow physiciansorders and medical care plans and operate both independently and collaboratively as part of the MapletonLocal School District health team. School Clinic Nurses must be able to follow directions and guidance fromthe District Nurse and administration prioritize tasks effectively adhere to timelines and meet timely professional oral and written communications to all stakeholder groups are essential as wellas proficiency in computer applications including word processing email and electronic health positions are assigned for 200 days during the academic school year beginning August 4 2025. Thedaily work schedule is 7.5 hours per day approximately 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Compensation is up to $25.00per hour for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or up to $18.00 per hour for a School Health Aide based onqualifications licensure and experience.
