Sacred Heart Community Service located in San Jose CA is looking for a multifaceted Family Support Networks Program Analyst to analyze and improve programs that stabilize individuals and families facing severe economic hardship while creating opportunities for members to get involved to change the conditions in their lives. This individual must be highly organized possess an ability to work flexibly and creatively demonstrate superior communication skills and be able to understand and analyze program data in order to present them to our community and funders. The ideal candidate must be equally committed to our vision of a community united to ensure every child and adult is free from poverty an approach of driving policy change through transformational leadership development and developing programs through an anti-racism and anti-oppression worldview. For more than 60 years SHCS has been one of the leading institutions addressing poverty in Santa Clara County through a strategy that combines addressing the consequences of poverty through impactful programs while building power with people to push for systemic change.

Position Summary

The Temporary Family Support Networks Program Analyst will have a direct impact on the goal of the Family Support Networks Programs to reach more families with 0-5-year-old children throughout Santa Clara Countys most impacted zip codes. This position will play an important role in the expansion of the Community-Led Mindfulness-Based 0-3-year-old parenting program the Safe Secure and Loved program across the county particularly in the Valley Palms and San Ysidro Beacons of Hope Family Resource Centers. The Temp FSN Program Analyst reconciles and analyzes data from multiple databases and supports efforts to engage community members with lived experience as promotores volunteers advocates and advisory committee members. This position along with Program Leaders will be the representatives for the various partnerships that SHCS and the Temp Family Support Networks Programs maintains with the following groups (Resilient Families Gilroy Beacon of Hope Collaborative DFCS Prevention Bureau Santa Clara University Child Studies Department Partnership San Ysidro and Valley Palms Community.

Program Management (20%)

Plan and support the implementation of organization-wide programs events trainings retreats and outreach activities

Develop implement and continuously improve program policies and procedures.

Coordinate efforts to elevate member voices through Program Advisory Committees and leadership groups. Identify pilot and improve opportunities for Early Childhood Education teams to contribute to community organizing and policy advocacy.

Leadership Development (10%)

Lead train and mentor promotoras expanding the Safe Secure and Loved 03-year-old parenting program in target communities.

Recruit train supervise and support promotores and volunteers.

Facilitate and support leadership development trainings for promotores volunteers and staff including topics such as Social Justice and Early Childhood Education.

Implement strategies to develop leadership pathways for participants within Early Childhood Education programs. Administrative (Data and Analysis) (65%)

Develop and report on program goals outcomes and team performance metrics in alignment with SHCS Strategic Plan and funding contracts.

Lead data collection reporting and analysis efforts for grant and program compliance.

Conduct data entry frequent quality assurance checks and provide support to staff and partners to improve data collection practices.

Build run and analyze database reports in Salesforce and partner systems to track progress and outcomes.

Share data findings with program staff impacted community members partner agencies and funders.

Support continuous learning program evaluation and improvement within the Self-Sufficiency Department.

Conduct data analysis to strengthen community organizing efforts and policy campaigns.

Manage member satisfaction and feedback processes ensuring implementation of improvements based on survey results.

General Responsibilities (5%)

Attend department and agency-wide meetings retreats and training.

Perform other duties as assigned.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

The FSN Temporary Program Analyst Reports reports to the Self-sufficiency Director.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Bilingual/biliterate in English and Spanish.

Minimum two years of experience or education in data analysis nonprofit administration or direct service in anti-poverty or early childhood education programs.

Proficient in MS Word Excel PowerPoint Google Suite and client databases such as Salesforce or HMIS.

Strong organizational communication and teamwork skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience providing services through a cultural humility framework and working with diverse communities.

Sensitivity to issues related to child welfare homelessness mental health and disabilities.

Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends; valid drivers license and access to a vehicle required.

Preferred

Masters degree in education social science human services public health or a related field or equivalent experience.

COMPENSATION:

This is a temporary (June 2025 - September 2025) non-exempt full-time position paying $25.00/hour. This position does not provide SHCS-sponsored benefits except as required by law.
