Interested Learn more at Assembler will work closely with production and engineering teams to prepare components and assemble electromechanical assemblies. You will perform all functions related to the assembly process from picking component inventory through the final assembly of process equipment tooling fixtures and devices.
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints process instructions schematics mechanical drawings pictures and other diagrams to assemble complex assemblies and subassemblies.
- Inspect test and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications tolerances and customer order requirements.
- Assemble parts or units position align and fasten units to assemblies subassemblies or frames using hand tools and power tools.
- Position align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. Connect cables tubes and wiring according to specifications. Disassemble units to replace parts or to crate them for shipping.
- Solder wire and check connections and continuity.
- Measure parts to determine tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers calipers and verniers.
- Conduct tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Monitor operation including gauges dials or other indicators to ensure the machines are working properly.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2-4 years related experience is required. Must have experience in the assembly of mechanical mechanisms. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills including verbal written and listening.
- Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Troubleshooting skills
- Judgment and Decision-Making skills.
- Ability to use lift balance walk lie on the back manual dexterity and lift to 40 pounds.
- Flexibility to work overtime.
- Knowledge of vacuum system technologies and clean room experience helpful.
- Must be computer literate in MS Word and Excel.
The expected salary range for this position is $40755.00 - $51623.00 plus a bonus opportunity. We will consider your location experience and other job-related factors when determining your pay.
