Description of role:
TWI are seeking to appoint an experienced NDT Chief Engineer/Consultant to support the NDT Inspection Services Section of the Non-Destructive testing (NDT) Group.
This work will include in-house and customer consultancy support authoring and review of Level 3 documentation support to invigilation audit expert witness and standard committees business development mentoring and delivery of state-of-the art advanced NDT projects.
The Chief Engineer will have a minimum of one CSWIP/PCN Level 3 qualification in an ultrasonic technique an appropriate qualification at degree level and extensive knowledge the application of NDT to industry. A postdoctoral qualification and/or experience in nuclear or defence sectors would be of advantage.
The NIS section delivers a broad range of projects to an international customer base often with competing demands and the requirement to co-ordinate multiple priorities in a fast paced continually changing environment. As a Chief Engineer in our team you will propose manage and deliver projects for TWI Member Companies as well as supporting day-to-day customer enquiries. To be successful you will need to:
