Job Summary
As a key member of the People & Culture team the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment across our U.S. and Canadian operations. This position will partner closely with hiring managers to attract source and secure top-tier talent aligned with LandSolutions growth and operational needs. The role requires a strategic and hands-on recruiter who understands the nuances of both U.S. and Canadian labor markets employment legislation and candidate expectations.

Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements team culture and candidate profiles.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for specialized or high-priority roles in the U.S. and Canada.
Proactively source candidates using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter Indeed Resume and other platforms.
Screen candidates through resume review phone screens and video interviews.
Present shortlisted candidates and coordinate interview scheduling and logistics.
Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Collaborate with hiring managers during final selection using evaluation tools or scorecards.
Prepare and present offer letters in line with internal compensation guidelines.
Initiate onboarding handoff to the HR Assistant and hiring managers upon offer acceptance.
Maintainaccurate candidate records and workflows within the applicant tracking system (UKG or similar).
Support reporting on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and quality of hire.
Represent LandSolutions at recruitment events and career fairs as needed.
Contribute to employer branding efforts by working with HR and Marketing on social media and recruitment messaging.
Support compliance with applicable employment legislation in collaboration with HR.
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
3-5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience with proven success in both U.S. and Canadian markets.
Strong knowledge of employment practices and compliance requirements in both U.S. and Canadian markets.
Experience using ATS platforms (UKG preferred) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter Indeed etc.).
Excellent organizational communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple searches with a high degree of professionalism discretion and attention to detail.
Flexible self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with the land and right-of-way industry or infrastructure related sectors is preferred.
