About The Business
More than 300 million customers shop on Amazons global store every day browsing purchasing and reviewing products sold by both Amazon and third-party sellers. Since 2000 Amazon has provided individuals and businesses of all sizes with a platform to reach hundreds of millions of customers build their brands and grow their businesses. About The Role
The International Seller Services (ISS) Finance team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to work with the Seller Experience and Special projects team. This role will play a pivotal role in shaping the global strategy around new businesses models that scale world wide along with designing implementing and scaling Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools across the 3rd party business.
Sellers are the lifeblood of Amazons Marketplace and new sellers are a critical driver of growth contributing significantly to both our active seller base and product selection. By recruiting and supporting third-party (3P) sellers ISS helps them grow their businesses on Amazonwhether through their own logistics networks or by leveraging Amazons global fulfillment and customer service capabilities. A healthy and thriving seller ecosystem is essential to the long-term success of Amazons 3P business.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or related field
MBA or Masters degree preferred
Professional certifications like CPA CFA or CIMA are often valued
Experience:
6-10 years of progressive finance experience
People management experience
Experience managing large-scale projects and budgets
Technical Skills:
Advanced Excel and financial modeling
ERP systems (SAP Oracle etc.)
Financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
Risk management and internal controls
Soft Skills:
Strategic thinking and business acumen
Strong leadership and team management
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Stakeholder management
Technical Expertise:
SQL proficiency for data analysis and reporting
Python or R programming for advanced analytics
BI tools (Tableau Power BI Looker)
Advanced modeling and forecasting techniques
VBA and macro development
Advanced Education:
Masters degree or MBA from top-tier institution
Specialized finance or data analytics
Leadership:
Cross-functional team leadership
Change management experience
Track record of process improvement
Experience managing remote/global teams
Mentorship and coaching experience
