Job Title:Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist SEN School Aylesbury

Working hours:Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join our clients team at a private special educational needs (SEN) school in Aylesbury. The school provides education and care for up to 176 young people aged 1119 with a primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).
The school was ratedOutstandingby Ofsted in September 2021 and proudly holds the National Autistic Society Advanced Accreditation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment treatment and management of a wide range of language and communication difficulties
- Develop SLT care plans based on best practice via a range of direct and/or indirect models of delivery within an educational setting evaluating the impact the individual considering the barriers to activity and participation within the educational setting
- Train education staff to incorporate specialist strategies and intervention . approaches into their practice and participate in monitoring the effectiveness of that training
- Communicate complex condition related information from assessment to clients carers families and members of the multi-disciplinary team
Qualifications and Experience:
- HCPC registration
- Experience working with children or adults with communication needs
- Car driver (desirable)
