St. Matthew School in partnership with the home and parish promotes the Catholic faith and inspires academic excellence in an environment of cultural diversity opportunity service forgiveness and love.

St. Matthew School is seeking a caring enthusiastic and flexible part-time aide for its Extended School Service (ESS). We are a PreK-8 school located in north Seattle near the Northgate area.

ESS hours are 6:45-8:30 in the morning and Mondays 1:45-6:00 Tuesdays-Fridays 2:45-6:00 and 11:45-6:00 on half days (according to the school calendar).
End of shift may be earlier depending on when the last student is picked up.

Requirements:

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Clear a Washington State Background Check
Complete the Archdiocesan Safe Environment Training
Have a warm and friendly personality be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others and be able to relate well to students
Regular punctual attendance is a must

Duties:

Supervises all activities to ensure safety
Plans a variety of activities
Interacts and maintains a professional attitude with students and families
Treats all students with dignity and respect
Helps to maintain a neat and organized space
Helps with the general housekeeping tasks
Reports to the ESS director
Works with other staff members to form a positive and supportive team atmosphere

Depending on experience and qualifications the salary ranges from $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. This is a part-time position and is not eligible for offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications.
