Job Description

CBRN DCO Senior Project Manager
Management and Administration Support Services: Provide general organization management supervision and oversight and support day-to-day operational activities. Prepare and present information papers briefings and other tailored information to respond to a wide range of routine and short suspense inquiries and formal taskings from internal or external DoD sources to include presentation of information to General/Flag Officers and other senior military and civilian executives within Headquarters USAMRDC and the Headquarters Defense Health Agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general organization management supervision and oversight and supports day-to-day operational activities. Provide regular (monthly) summaries of activities conducted that month to the COR for review.
  • Coordinate with program managers laboratories and their staffs to develop information.
  • Prepare and present information papers briefings and other tailored information to respond to a wide range of routine and short suspense inquiries and formal taskings from internal or external DoD sources to include presentation of information to General/Flag Officers and other senior military and civilian executives within Headquarters USAMRDC and the Headquarters Defense Health Agency.
  • Provide strategic planning and other business support functions to include travel coordination and data management.
  • Participate in enterprise planning meetings.
  • Perform research and analyses to support DoD responses to audits of DoD CBDP activities.
  • Develop or manage data exchange agreements memoranda of agreement and commitment responsibilities associated with collaborations with interagency international and industry partners.

Minimum qualifications:

  • BS degree and 12 15 years of prior relevant experience or masters with 10 13 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Requires 12 experience with years of US Government program management: planning and managing costs schedules and performance of scientific/ medical research programs and diverse technical skills to provide efficient and effective support to funding agencies and subordinate commands.
  • United States citizen
  • Hold an active SECRET clearance
  • Assume that sites of operation will be near the Head Quarters (HQ) and USAMRDC (Fort Detrick).
  • Telework may be permitted.
  • Normal workdays are Monday through Friday except US Federal Holidays. Workers typically work eight (8) hours per day 40 hours per week. Flextime workers start not earlier than 0600 and not later than 0900. Core hours of work are from 0900 to 1500 daily not including a lunch break.
  • For purpose of planning work will be performed in an office setting with personnel available for government interactions between the core hours 0900 and 1500 hours each Federal workday.
  • All contractor personnel shall be required to complete and sign a contractor NDA prior to beginning work on the subject contract.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements as well as industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred qualifications:

  • PMP certification
  • PhD level education in health and or sciences
  • Experience managing programs in DoD intramural medical/chemical/biological research

Pay Range:

Pay Range $126100.00 - $227950.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
