Job Description

Job Title:Project Manager
Long-term contract
Washington DC - Prefer DMV area candidates
Client: Federal
Pay rate: Market/DOE
Active or eligible HSPD-12 clearance.
Note: Resume must be 3 pages only.
Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading all project activities ensuring that technical schedule and cost objectives are met. This role will serve as the primary point of contact between the client and the technical team.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the project team in delivering IT professional services in accordance with PWS requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage project budget scope and resources.
  • Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with federal government representatives to ensure compliance with policies processes and practices.
  • Ensure adherence to security and privacy requirements including HSPD-12 clearance compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or related technical field and 5 years of relevant experience OR 10 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Proven track record in project and schedule management.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • Experience managing IT projects in a federal government environment preferred.
  • Active or eligible HSPD-12 clearance.
