DATTCO has an opening for a full-time Benefits Specialist in New Britain CT. This is a full-time on-site position and remote work is not available.

Primary Responsibilities
- Open enrollment
- Employee orientation
- Heavy data entry (which includes payroll earnings and deduction code set-up)
- Effectively answer routine phone calls mail and fax inquiries
- Tracking of required documents
- Correspondence to employees about benefit eligibility
- Providing clerical and administrative support
- Participate in outings with vendors as needed
- Leave management (FMLA Federal and State Regulations) tracking and data entry
- Daily attendance at work is required - Hours 7:30 am 4:00 pm Monday Friday (overtime may be required occasionally based on business needs)
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 12-year benefits experience and with some payroll knowledge (high-deductible plans flex spending HRA etc.)
- Human resource basic knowledge (i.e. FMLA LOA ACA)
- Bi-lingual is a plus
- Valid CT drivers license
- Reliability is a must
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Excel HRIS and Payroll systems.
- Self-motivated
- Detail-orientated
- Ability to work within time constraints
- Be able to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
