Position Description:
Recognised as one of the worlds largest IT and business consulting firms CGI has offices across Australia supporting local public and private sector clients to solve real business problems.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a junior Business Analyst or a system-savvy professional particularly with experience in rostering scheduling or functional support to step into a more structured and impactful BA role. You will join a key project as it moves into delivery working alongside a supportive team and building your capability in enterprise systems process design and functional analysis.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to grow into a systems and process-focused business analysis pathway. Youll bring curiosity stakeholder engagement skills and a passion for solving business problems through system and process improvements.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Work with business units to understand their processes and requirements and help translate these into detailed build requirements for enterprise solutions.
Assist with creating Business Process Flow (BPF) diagrams and other process or technical documentation.
Contribute to planning and designing data migration activities from legacy systems.
Support system testing to ensure functional requirements are met. Includes executing test cases and assisting with end-to-end testing.
Help develop training materials and support user training and adoption activities.
Provide general system support by assisting with issue triage user queries and documentation.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Some experience in a junior Business Analyst rostering/scheduling analyst systems support or similar role.
Comfortable working with business processes and documenting workflows.
A strong interest in functional systems enterprise platforms and problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
A collaborative and proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
