The Global Ad Sales organization is looking for an Executive Assistant to support Directors on the US Large Customer Sales (US LCS) team. This role will primarily support 2-3 leaders who oversee teams of 150 employees in total. In addition to serving as part of a close-knit EA team supporting the broader Ad Sales organization of 5000 employees worldwide.
We are seeking a self-motivated resourceful and tech-savvy problem solver with a history of high performance to support our growing organization. This exciting role requires exceptional planning time management and organizational skills. The right candidate will have a strong sense of ownership bias for action and be customer service-oriented. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism dealing with senior executives inside and outside the company is imperative. The ability to foster a positive team environment is a must as is flexibility and a willingness to turn on a dime and take effective action as priorities shift. This is a LA based role.
Key job responsibilities
- Complex calendar management and coordination of high-level internal and external meetings
- Seamlessly manage detailed domestic and international travel itineraries as well as expense reporting
- Managing large event logistics (in-person and virtually) including catering accommodations and materials (e.g. All Team events management courses team building activities customer engagements etc.)
- Planning space for the team and facilitating office moves
- Partnering closely and proactively with Finance HR Recruiting and EAs throughout the Ads org
- Attending key meetings tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables and following up on action items
- Identifying internal and external approaches to solve problems in a creative way
A day in the life
Every day is different but a typical day will involve managing a high volume of email working with other Executive Assistants to schedule complex meetings and partnering closely with executives and their business partners on projects and initiatives.
- 2 years of senior level leadership support or 1 years of Amazon experience
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- 2 years of professional or military experience
- Experience in a fast-paced high-tech company
- Experience managing multiple calendars
- Superior attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
