We are the trusted name in innovative gate hardware and our Australian-made products are sold and exported in the late 1980s D&D gained international recognition with its ground-breaking MagnaLatchmagnetic child safety gate latch for swimming pool and other child safety gates winning several prestigious design awards for our revolutionary design. Since then D&D has expanded operations and continues to grow its product range delivering innovative safety privacy and security gate hardware 2022 D&D Technologies was acquired by ASSA ABLOY.
POSITION SUMMARY
D&D Technologies is searching for a territory sales manager to aggressively grow our sales revenue and market share. Territory sales management functions include new business development customer service networking/relationship building and reporting of business analysis and trends. The Territory includes Texas Oklahoma Louisiana Kansas Arkansas Mississippi & Alabama. The candidate must live in the territory. We are looking for Hunters to grow this territory
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
GROW SALES and Market Share.
Prospect (cold calling) companies within the territory. Identify qualify and close opportunities within all types of industries focusing on developing horizontal and vertical markets.
Develop sales strategies to target large accounts OEM Distributors Fence Contractors and other Non-fence Industry opportunities Create and implement short- and long-range sales and marketing strategies to address existing and new opportunities. Analyse data (Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365 Power BI) to target growth opportunities for existing and new leads.
Present products and education by performing product knowledge training (PK) and educate audiences on the value-add products and services of D&D Technologies (sales marketing technical Etc.) differentiating D&D from other manufacturers.
Network with businesses; participate in organizations within the fencing industries and attend relevant industry events and conferences (national regional and customer trade shows)
Discover sales opportunities through industry contacts CRM and research the internet for incremental sales growth.
Analyse competitor activities in the region and assess opportunities for business development. Ensure the company is constantly aware of the competitive market performance standards changing industry benchmarks and pricing policies.
Develop goals with manager and support corporate key performance indicators (KPI)
Prepare and submit reports (expense forecasting travel and CRM) to management in a timely manner
Skills/Qualifications:
Business degree in Business Marketing or a related field is preferred.
Individuals must have a minimum of 3-5 years sales experience.
A highly effective communicator must demonstrate strong salesmanship showmanship charisma and clear communication.
Self-directed/motivated and drive for sales results
Outstanding organizational analytical and aggressive sales skills
Up to 70% travel in territory and some outside travel required throughout the year.
Ability to develop sales strategies to perform to KPI goals.
Leadership skills goal oriented team player
Valid drivers license reliable transportation and insurance
Proficient in MS Office with a focus on Excel; familiarity Microsoft Dynamic CRM 365 is a plus.
