You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailUtah State University Extension invites applications for a Extension Program Coordinator I position in the Home and Community Department and is based in Millard County. This is an exempt position at 1.0 FTE.
Utah State University Extension implements evaluates and coordinates research-based educational programs to enhance the quality of life for youth and adults. They also recruit train and supervise volunteer leaders acting as liaisons between local clientele resource agencies and Utah State University.
Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating Create Better Health and Food Preservation programs such workshops and educational activities. Collaboration with community partners and H&C faculty is integral to improving healthy food access and physical activity opportunities providing outreach and education through social media and delivering Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) programs related to Food Preservation nutrition health and wellness. Additional duties involve reporting program progress and impacts recruiting partner agencies and clients and ensuring adherence to federal guidelines and SNAP-Ed policies.
An office will be provided at the USU Extension office in Delta Utah.
