UI Developer (Angular, HTML5, CSS3)

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a talented and dedicated UI Developer (Angular) to join our innovative digital team. In this role you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining high-performance responsive web applications leveraging Angular (v6 and above). You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including UX designers backend developers and project managers to deliver user-centric solutions that align with business goals. Your expertise will enable the creation of seamless and engaging interfaces contributing directly to our clients digital transformation initiatives.

Software Requirements

• Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with hands-on experience in Angular (v6 and above)
  • Proven experience in building modular scalable and maintainable web applications
  • Expertise in HTML5 and CSS3
  • Experience with modern web development tools such as Visual Studio Code version control systems (Git or Bitbucket) and build tools
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Familiarity with Angular best practices component-driven architecture and performance optimization techniques

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Angular Material or other UI component libraries
  • Knowledge of RESTful API integration
  • Experience with state management frameworks (NgRx Akita)
  • Understanding of progressive web applications (PWAs)

Overall Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality efficient and user-friendly web applications using Angular
• Write clean modular and well-documented code aligned with company standards
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional interfaces
• Integrate front-end components with backend APIs and services
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure application performance responsiveness and usability
• Optimize application performance through profiling and code refinement
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions to uphold best practices
• Stay updated with the latest front-end trends techniques and tools and evaluate their potential application
• Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies contributing to sprints stand-ups and retrospectives

Experience Requirements

• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Domain experience in financial services or similar industries is a plus
• Alternative pathways include substantial project work freelance work or contributions to open-source projects demonstrating Angular expertise

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop and maintain dynamic user-friendly web interfaces aligned with project specifications
• Collaborate with UX designers to implement visual and interaction designs
• Engage in daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
• Debug and resolve issues promptly to meet project timelines and quality standards
• Integrate front-end code with RESTful services and backend systems
• Keep abreast of new Angular features libraries and best practices for continuous improvement
• Document technical designs coding standards and implementation details

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Relevant certifications in Angular or front-end development are a plus
• Demonstrated proficiency in front-end development with a strong portfolio or code samples
