The LMON System Administrator is responsible for managing maintaining and supporting a complex client/server architecture that enables the development testing and deployment of enterprise-wide modeling and simulation applications.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Linux Windows 10 11 and Server 2016 environments including virtualized platforms such as VMware.
Manage Active Directory Remedy ServiceNow or other incident management systems.
Provide technical support troubleshooting and resolution for both basic and complex IT issues escalating as necessary.
Oversee inventory control processes ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Lead and coordinate a small team (2-5 personnel) in daily tasks including ticket resolution inventory management and patch administration.
Support all phases of system engineering and integration including planning implementation deployment and sustainment.
Assist with infrastructure design testing and release upgrades to optimize system performance.
Minimum Qualifications
3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
Security certification (or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification).
U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Requirements
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain customer focus.
Self-motivated able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Experience with inventory management and asset tracking.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with release upgrades and system maintenance.
This position is on-site Monday through Friday with minimal anticipated weekend work.
