Pickerings is a leading supplier of high-quality temporary buildings. We design and supply solutions to a diverse customer base including schools needing extra classrooms commercial businesses needing additional office space and construction sites needing a complex of offices and welfare facilities.
The Role
As Regional Sales Advisor for our Swindon depot the primary focus of this role is to proactively develop and foster relationships with new and existing customers to create business opportunities for Pickerings products and services.
Whilst youll have a base at our Swindon depot youll spend most of your time visiting customers at their sites and offices in local area identify and understanding their needs and provide solutions and timely quotations.
Youll be responsible for your own diary and will liaise with the wider sales team depot team and undertake your own market research to target potential customers.
About You
Youll be a successful sales representative who is target driven and with demonstrable expertise in face-to-face sales and business development through impromptu and scheduled calls and meetings.
Experience within the temporary accommodation industry would be advantageous but isnt essential. More importantly is being able to quickly assimilate knowledge of our products and keep up to date with market trends and competitor information.
This is a full time and permanent position. Whilst our business primarily operates between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday youll need a flexible approach to working hours to meet business need.
As youll undertake travel across the area the depot supplies to plus occasionally travel to our other sites around the UK including our Head Office in Derbyshire youll need a full driving licence.
