Overview

Position: Speech Language Pathologist

Location: 3770 8th Street SW Suites G & I Altoona IA 50009

Schedule: M-Th 7am-5 pm F 7am-11am

Compensation: $62000-$70000 Depending on experience

Incentives: Uncapped student debt relief

Select Kids Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our outpatient therapy team in Altoona IA. Our clinic provides services such as pediatric physical therapy pediatric occupational therapy pediatric speech therapy and congenital/neuro/autism services. Responsibilities

  • Build Relationships: Provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
  • Collaborative Approach: Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services
  • High Standard of Care: Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs
  • Personalized Treatment: Develop comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes and provide ongoing evaluation of their status and goals.

Qualifications

  • Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
  • State SLP licensure required
  • ASHA certification is required
  • 300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
