Job Description

Job Goals: To support students in their pursuit of personal and academic goals through in-school interventions. To assist in the development of High School programs and structures to support personalization of student learning. Performance Responsibilities: Acts as a liaison between students and staff to advocate for student needs and concerns. Works with classroom teachers and school counseling staff to identify and support students who need additional family community or school supports to be successful. Assists Administrators in developing learning supports or student interventions. Serves as an additional liaison with parents particularly those whose students require additional supports to be successful. Maintains records of student support and intervention strategies. Collaborates with teachers administrators school counselors and other educational personnel to identify appropriate interventions based on student need. Facilitates Response To Intervention (RTI) team meetings to include reviews of student data assisting in identifying school-wide issues and assisting in the development of school-wide intervention various RTI records forms and reports as required. Develops and facilitates academic and behavioral professional development activities for school faculty.
