Program Manager -(Product Design & Tech Docs)
Location:Bangalore India
About Team & About Role:
Our design award winning team is strong and mighty with about 55 amazing individuals from all walks of the industry and life located world wide with a team of over 20 people in our BLR design center of excellence!. As our company and our products grow rapidly it is crucial to scale the user experience of our product and our design and tech writing team in the right way and with the right people.

We are seeking a core hire - our first Program Manager in Rubriks growing Bangalore office. This function will help us scale and make our award winning team more efficient and help drive our next phase of growth a success by partnering closely with all the key functions and working hand in hand with the design leadership team.
What youll do:
- Partner closely with our Help Documentation and Design teams to ensure work and goals are executed within given timelines and by best-of-breed UX standards.
- Coordinate feature releases - Act as a bridge between the Product Design team and the engineering and product management teams on key initiatives.
- Help translate the leadership strategy into actual outcomes.
- Collaborate with all the design and help documentation team members.
- Identify team needs with regards to process tools documentation asset management etc.
- Balance multiple inputs of priorities and needs making sure inter-dependencies are understood and planned for effectively.
- Capture help document requirements and project goals.
- Craft and manage the team JIRA board.
- Communicate project and program status.
- Help to track tasks internal to the Help Documentation team
- Help coordinate and set up cross Product Design team initiatives and activities.
What youll bring to the team:
- 4-8 years of relevant experience in Program/Project management
- Demonstrated experience owning and leading multiple initiatives at the same time
- Passion for getting things done
- Comfortable with ambiguity; you enjoy figuring out what needs to be doneand then doing it
- Approach problems with curiosity and excitement to learn and grow your skills
- Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills.
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage in an environment of ambiguity with diverse partners.
- Ability to work across multiple complex programs.
- Knowledge of JIRA - is a plus
- Hands on experience working with development or product management teams working with a design or documentation team is a a plus.
